Q. Can I get cash for my stuff?

We buy your unwanted video games, blurays and dvds for cash.
We do not accept any music CDs or PC games currently.
When we recieve your items, your account is credited with the amount we stated if you have sent within 7 days. You can then either spend this credit on other items or simply cash out in your account page. Payment is made by cheque (cost of £1 will be charged for handling fees and postage) once we have received your request for payment. We aim to send this cheque to you within 7 working days, more often than not much sooner.
Q. What will you accept?
We're sorry to say that Tradeyourstuff.co.uk can only accept items that are in good condition. If the appearance of a DVD or video game is questionable to you, then it's probably something we wouldn't be able to accept. Catching this before you send your items in to us will save us all a little time and effort.Remember, any items you wish returned to you will have to be shipped back at your expense, at the cost of £1.50 per item. If we do not hear from you within 7 days, we reserve the right to recycle on your behalf.
Q. Where's my credit?
Credit is applied to your account on receipt of your items and testing the products.You will be sent an email also when we have received the item. If you have any issues,contact us with the relevant order number.
Q. What if the item does not meet your standards?
We reserve the right to make these determinations of quality. All used items are inspected and sorted by trained professionals who want what you want: great entertainment at affordable prices. If the discs do not meet standards, we will email you regarding these particular items. Any trade-ins that are refused for any reason are returned to you at the cost of £1.50 per item. If we do not hear within 7 days from you, we reserve the right to recycle these items on your behalf in an environmentally friendly fashion.
Q. What condition items do you accept?
All products sold to Tradeyourstuff must be in good condition. Items cannot be scratched, cracked, chipped, skipping, or missing artwork. Video games must include the booklet, we reserve the right to reduce the amount payable by 25% for any items missing the relevant manual or inserts.Promotional items, DIVX DVDs and CDRs (recordable CDs) will not be accepted. We will also only accept UK PAL games, any imports or non UK items will be sent back to you in accordance with our terms and conditions.
Q. Can I get more for a new item?
All dvds and games purchased from our customers are considered pre-owned. Even if you haven't played it, opened it, still has the original price tag on it, you will get the same regardless of it being new or used. Sorry!
Q. How do I send my stuff in?
Add all items to your cart, checkout and an email is sent with the order number and the address to send your items to. Simply send your package to us with a printout of this email so we can track this order. On receipt, you will be emailed and your account credited. You will incur the costs of postage to us and we recommend sending by trackable means to ensure that you can trace this order and in case it goes missing, allows you to claim compensation.
We will be offering a free postage service from the middle of October 2011 for your items so you dont have to spend a penny.
Q. Can i sell to you if im not in the UK?
Unfortunately not. We are currently only buying items off people in the UK.
Q. How long do I have to send out my items?
Please try to send out asap, the quicker you send, the quicker you get your credit/money! You have 7 days to send in your items in order to lock in the prices quoted. If you send after this time period, you will receive the amounts for the value of the game on date of receipt rather than the price we quoted. Bearing in mind, items lose value by the day, it is likely that this amount will be less. We therefore recommend you send your items to us securely and quickly.
Q. I have multiple items, can i sell these to you?
No, we do not accept multiple copies. We also do not accept items from what we may deem traders. Any multiple copies will be rejected and will be sent back in accordance with the terms and conditions.
Q. How long until I get my order?
You will be automatically notified by email when we have despatched the item and you can track this on your my order status. In some cases, the game may need to be professionally cleaned if any scratches are evident and we will do this to ensure you get the best product in good condition.
Q. I need to add to an order?
Sorry but we cant do this. All we suggest is that you make another order. If we have not despatched the first item, we will send together.
Q. How do I check status of an order?
Click on Order Status from the top right of any page and it will show you the status of every order you've placed and whether the order was processed, shipped, backordered, deleted or cancelled.
Q. I got the wrong item?
Please contact us with your order number and the incorrect title and we will gladly replace or refund the item. Sorry!

Q. I placed an order but never got a confirmation
Please contact us if you haven't received an email within 30 minutes of placing your order (usually you will get it immediately, but some services such as Hotmail can take longer). Our customer service reps are always able to determine if your email confirmation somehow was skipped, or if your order just plain didn't go through.We also recommend that you double-check the spelling of your email address.
Q. Where's my refund?
Once we receive your return, we will contact you via email to notify you that your refund has been processed.
Q. I need to return my order?
www.tradeyourstuff.co.uk completely guarantees all of its merchandise to be free of defects. If you are unhappy with the condition of an item we sent you, simply contact us within 10 days of delivery and we will either replace or refund the product.
When making a return request, please provide us with the following info:
1. Your order number
2. The title(s) you wish to return
3. The reason for the return
We will then provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (R.M.A.) as well as the necessary instructions for returning the item(s) to us. Please note that we can only accept returns that are the result of an error by us or if the item is defective. If you selected the wrong item, or it turned out to be something other than you expected, you're always welcome to sell that item back to us in a future order.
